Feeding & swallowing difficulties in babies & childtren.

Dr Sharon Smart is a speech pathologist and lecturer with a long-standing passion for working with feeding and swallowing difficulties in babies and children.  She graduated with a bachelor and doctoral degrees from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and has worked clinically in childhood feeding and swallowing within community and tertiary hospitals in Perth and London for over 20 years. Her doctoral research explored feeding and communication development in preterm babies, and subsequent research has investigated various facets of swallowing and feeding difficulties in babies and children, tongue-tie, and speech and language development in children.
