Somewhat typically, Nik Bluett’s presentation to Club members and guests on 14 February avoided any notion of the usual resume of his life before joining Rotary, and focussed on his current love of drones.  He also showed photos taken with his drone on a recent family trip to New Zealand.

So if we expected someone to drone on and on about their life story (as happens at some other Rotary Clubs), Nik brought along his drone instead, all-up cost of $1800.  And as can be seen on the photo, his drone can fit in his hand.

There were a number of members who would have been wondering how they can justify buying one.  It looks to be a lot of fun!
