1. Graeme's report from in Metung, Victoria

Very difficult last day on Sunday, marred by difficult wind conditions. Some wind, then no wind, abandoned races and races that should have been abandoned due to unfair sailing conditions.
The end result was we couldn't hold on to 10th place, ended up 11th. We were the third placed WA boat.
This is a very beautiful part of Australia, close to Lakes Entrance and Lake Tyers
Due home Friday night and hope to see everyone at next week’s meeting.

2. How did you spend Australia Day?

Can you guess which member is proudly displaying the Australian flag from their balcony?
The Philp's were lucky enough to get a prime viewing spot with Bunbury friends for the Australia Day Perth Fireworks. If interested, click here for some photos of the event.
3. Where are the Palmer's? Last seen heading EAST!
First overnight stop Boondi Rocks

Coffin Bay

4. Mt Henry UPDATE
Playground and exercise area now open to the public. Come and join Clive and Ray for a coffee this Friday at 7:15am and check it out. Very impressive and looking forward to the recognition of Applecross Rotary's contribution. This will promote Rotary's LOCAL community support for many years to come.
Great to see Clive back on the bike following a challenging 18 months.
5. Our YOUNG guests from Rotary Youth Exchange and recent RYLA participants made for an extra vibrant meeting last week to enjoy the presentation on the Bibbulmun track.
Some joined us in person and some via ZOOM.

If you missed the presentation you can click on the following link if you would like to listen to the presentation from Steve Sertis from the Bibbulmun track foundation.
