TRF Global Grants: handover of the Project assets to the Noonkopir Primary School, Kenya

Hello to the Donor Clubs,
 
Thank you again for your collective support to work with Applecross Rotary to complete two Global Grants: to "Build the Ambulant Toilet Block” and to “Fit out the Special Needs Unit” at Noonkopir Township Primary School, Kitengela, Kenya.
 
Friday 8th September 2023 was a milestone date: the assets were handed over to the school, and the classrooms will be filled with students at the start of the next school term in October.
 
The attached link to a FB video opens with a wonderful 3 minute segment in which a young schoolboy sings praise for the project sponsors.
 
The remaining 10 minutes shows Erin Hegarty, the principle of Mama Respond International  summarise the history of the project and offer thanks to all Rotary Clubs involved.
