The festive season is upon us with 12 more sleeps until Christmas.

Last Thursday, over 30 Rotarians and friends enjoyed our Christmas party at the Sweetwater Garden Terrace in East Fremantle.

 

 

 

 

It was a jovial occasion, in a great setting, and, much fun was had by all. Many thanks to Liz and Lorri for organizing the event.

 

The festivities will continue tomorrow morning at our last meeting for the year. Santa will no doubt have some surprises for us all.

 

Don’t forget to save your refundable drink containers over the festive period. Eligible containers can be deposited into any recycling centre.

 

 

 

Last week, our guest speaker Derek Fisher gave a wonderful presentation on the “Vocation of Growing Blue Berries.”

 

For those that missed this talk, we hope to arrange in the new year, a morning visit to Derek’s Gingin property. The site tour will amaze you with not only the technology and processes that are utilized, but also the scale of required capital. The tour would be followed by a sumptuous Swan Valley lunch.

 

As 2021 draws to a close, please note that our Club will recommence meetings on Tuesday 18 January.
