Happy New Year to all of you, and I hope that everyone has a Healthy, Safe and Happy 2024!
Thankyou to those of you who provided volunteering support for the Perth Makers Market in 2023. The donations we received in 2023 amounted to $23434, and after allocating to other volunteer groups, Applecross Rotary received $16140. Since 2016, donations have amounted to $139982, with Applecross Rotary receiving $101228 allowing us to support many different charities over those years. A Big Thanks to the Rotary Clubs of Attadale, E-Club, and Manning Tennis Club for their continued support as without their help, we would struggle to manage this activity.
There are a number of projects and renovations planned for Heathcote this year, which will mean that parking will be restricted and we are still working through what those changes mean. However, we are looking forward to another busy year with the Perth Makers Markets on the 18th Feb, 31st Mar (Easter), 12th May, 22nd Sept, 3rd Nov and 15th Dec (Christmas). Please put those dates into your diary (as well as the day before for setup, as a number of you will be allocated to assist with setup this year as well….).
