The Rotary Jacaranda Festival returns for 2017
Join us on Saturday 25 November as we take over Ardross Street, Applecross Village.
We LOVE putting on the annual Rotary Jacaranda Festival and this year promises to be our biggest yet with 145+ stalls along with a bumper line-up of entertainment and family-friendly activities. It's a day that is all about giving back to the community and Applecross Rotary invests in the region of 500-600 hours each year to make it happen and in 2016 we were able to reinvest some $10,000 back into local community groups as a result.

Developing our Youth for the future
Applecross Rotary is pleased to have sponsored Liam Martin from Mt Nasura School to RYPEN. Congratulations Liam Martin.
RYPEN provides a group of young people aged 15-17 an opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills. This weekend long program will see them engage with like-minded people, while having fun and learning new skills in areas such as problem solving and public speaking. On top of learning these skills RYPEN will give them a chance to put them to practical use, through debate and physical activity.
Applecross Rotary is sponsoring Su-En from PERTH MODERN School to the National Youth Science Program. Congratulations Su – En.
The National Youth Science Forum - NYSF is for Year 11 students passionate about science, NYSF gives an opportunity to visit a large variety of some of Australia’s leading scientific facilities and talk to many of our top scientists enabling informed career choices to be made. It's also a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and establish professional relations and life-long friendships.
