As we prepare to farewell Essi, we extend our heartfelt thanks to her wonderful host families and to All Saints’ College for opening their doors to our outstanding Rotary Youth Exchange student.
Together with our recent RYE student Valentin — who stays in regular contact with the club and is currently performing impressively in our AFL Footy Tipping competition — we have been incredibly fortunate to sponsor two exceptional young ambassadors. Essi and Valentin have represented Rotary Youth Exchange, their home countries (Finland and Germany respectively), and their sponsoring Rotary clubs with maturity, enthusiasm, and genuine goodwill.
Their presence has enriched our club, strengthened our international connections, and reminded us of the powerful impact Rotary Youth Exchange continues to have across cultures and generations.
