A big thank you to Marianne Thompson for securing the perfect venue for our 2026 celebration and changeover event — right in our Jacaranda Festival home at the Applecross Village Shopping Precinct.
Gucce Pizzeria e Cucina Italiana provided an ideal private space for our function, and Head Chef/Owner Atul and his team ensured we enjoyed a delicious menu, attentive service, and a truly memorable evening as we celebrated another successful year for Applecross Rotary and looked ahead to the 2026–2027 Rotary year.
It was also a special moment for our much‑loved Rotary Youth Exchange student Essi, who attended her final club event before flying home this Thursday. President Margaret presented Essi with a gift and a card signed by members of the Applecross Rotary family, wishing her every success for the future.
Essi has been a wonderful ambassador for Rotary Youth Exchange, and her presence has enriched our club throughout the year. We send her off with gratitude, pride, and our very best wishes.
Outgoing President Margaret Brede thanked members for their contributions, support, and commitment throughout the 2025–2026 year. Incoming President Margaret Brede then welcomed the members stepping into roles for the year ahead, looking forward to another productive and fun Rotary year in 2026-2027.
