Thirteen Rotarians from Applecross, Booragoon and E-Rotary clubs spent 4 hours at Foodbank and packed 640 'GIVE A FEED' food hampers.  A fantastic effort and Applecross Rotary Community Director Brett Hammill sent the following message to the volunteers -

All,
I want to say a BIG Thankyou to everyone who attended Foodbank today for the “Give a Feed” Hamper packing. What a fun day we had and wasn’t it great just getting to know each other better, working hard, and in doing so, helping an enormously worthwhile cause and one that Rotary is proud to be associated with.

I also found it interesting as to what was going into the hampers and how organised Foodbank was with regard to the process. In doing so, it made it easy for us to pack our 640 hampers onto 16 pallets.  Well done to our Rotarian Family and friends, and a big Thankyou to Foodbank as well.

I would have no hesitation in attending again next year given how easy it is to make a difference, and I hope that most of you feel the same.

Brett
