to see Ian for your sleeping bag donation. Winter is well and truly here!
Keeping Warm while Sleeping Rough
For some years Applecross Rotary has been asking members to donate a sleeping bag to keep street kids warm in winter.
These bags are made in Cambodia in a project hosted by Kay and John Eva from Rotary Club of Midland Swan Valley. The local people have learned to make the bags and these are “sold" in Perth, to Rotarians and friends, and donated on to Perth Rotary Project “Passages” and Anglicare Street Connect.
This process, from the villages in Cambodia to the streets of Perth, is managed by Kay and John. All we are asked to do is donate $50 for a sleeping bag to delivered to Passages or Street Connect and Ian Fairnie will make sure it happens. The donations are tax-deductible.
