Speaker: Anne Chapple - Anzac Cottage

Anne Chapple has had a life-long fascination with history and heritage and enhanced this with an incorporation of history studies in her Bachelor of Education degree. In her working life, she has worked for, amongst others, the Education Department of Western Australia, Museums Australia WA and the State Library of Western Australia Foundation, as well as being involved in various short term projects with heritage organisations such as the Bunbury Timber Jetty Association, the Collie Historical Society and the Yarloop Workshops Committee.

Voluntarily, Anne has a strong involvement with historic ANZAC Cottage in Mt Hawthorn, and has won several awards for her writing on the history of the Cottage, as well as undertaking many presentations on this topic at conferences and historical groups.
